- After two years of launching, the Among Us game won a Golden Joystick Breakthrough Award
Among Us, the asymmetric multiplayer deduction game that turned into a sensation this year, has win a Golden Joystick Breakthrough Award over two years after it initial launched.
Developed by Innersloth, Among Us game allows you to play as either a Crewmate or an Impostor in a space station. The objective of the crewmates is to complete tasks and identify the impostor and the Impostor can use sabotage to cause chaos and kill the crewmates.
Following two or three years of relative indefinite quality, Among Us turned out to be quite an out of control hit for the current year that Innersloth cancelled a planned sequel to support the original. The most recent update added anonymous voting in addition to other things.
The Mobile Game of the Year grant went to Lego Builder’s Journey, an Apple-selective story puzzler that recently passed by the name Lego Arthouse.
